1. Who we are

Y50 Playmaker is a product of Y50 Studio. It lets you create, publish and play interactive quizzes, challenges and live game shows. You can reach us at any time at y50.istudio@gmail.com.

2. Data we collect

Account data: your email address, display name, preferred language and, if you enable it, two-factor authentication settings.

Content you create: games, rounds, questions, answers, events, themes and other material you add to your question bank.

Gameplay data: game codes, session state, nicknames and avatars chosen by players, answers submitted, response times and scores.

Technical data: basic logs needed to keep the service secure and reliable, such as error reports and connection events.

3. Why we use it

To provide the service: saving your games, running live sessions, syncing players in real time and calculating scores on our servers.

To secure accounts: detecting abuse, preventing cheating and protecting against unauthorised access.

To improve the product: understanding which features are used so we can fix problems and prioritise work.

4. Players without an account

People who join a game with a game code do not need an account. We store only the nickname, avatar, answers and score linked to that session so the game can run and results can be shown.

5. Sharing

We do not sell your data. Data is processed by our hosting and database providers strictly to run Playmaker. We may disclose data if legally required.

Games you publish, and their game codes, are visible to anyone you share them with.

6. Retention and your rights

Your account content is kept while your account is active. Session data is kept so hosts can review results and replays.

You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account and its content by emailing y50.istudio@gmail.com. We act on verified requests within a reasonable period.

7. Security

Access to your data is protected by authentication and row-level database rules, so users can only read and write what belongs to them. Scoring and game state are validated on the server.

8. Children

Playmaker is designed for general audiences. If a child uses the service, it should be under the supervision of a parent, teacher or guardian.

9. Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves. The date at the top of this page always shows the latest revision.
